President, Aim

Scott Fornia-Fleming

Scott Fleming began his career with Aim when he was 16 years old, working in Aim’s fleet maintenance shop and headquarters in Girard, OH, where he swept floors, fueled trucks and ran parts. A few years later, Scott went off to college, where he studied business management. With a bachelor’s degree in hand, Scott returned to his family’s business full-time, starting out as a fleet asset manager. Scott eventually transitioned into full-service truck leasing sales, working with local businesses out of Aim’s Denver, CO, location. There, he would showcase his leadership ability for the first time by becoming Aim’s District Sales Manager.

While in college, Scott enlisted in the United States Marine Corps Reserves, and, in 2005, with the war in Iraq intensifying, Scott was called to duty, requiring him to step away from Aim to serve his country. While in Iraq, Scott Fleming, a Platoon Sergeant, earned a Commendation Medal with Valor for his heroic actions, which included more than 120 combat security patrols and involvement in numerous operations.

Upon his return from serving in Operation Iraqi Freedom, Scott picked up right where he left off in Colorado as the District Sales Manager. Then, in 2007, he transitioned to Regional Operations Coordinator for Aim Integrated Logistics, a Transport Topics Top 100 Logistics Company.

In 2013, Scott founded a new division of the company: Aim Services. This strategic move capitalized on the natural gas boom in the Utica Shale and Marcellus Shale Play regions by solidifying the Aim brand as a respected transportation solution for the oil and gas industry.

In 2019, Scott was promoted to Co-President of Aim Transportation Solutions. Serving in this role for several years, Scott was crucial in shaping the company's immediate and long-term strategies, fostering valuable partnerships, successfully navigating the pandemic and driving overall operational excellence.

Now, as President of Aim Transportation Solutions, Scott is playing a vital role in embarking on new strategic initiatives that will strengthen Aim’s position in the market while never straying from Aim’s unbeatable customer service rooted in the company’s family-owned legacy.

Scott is also passionate about fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation within the Aim organization. His emphasis on employee development, inclusion and engagement has not only resulted in a more cohesive and motivated team but has also contributed to the company's reputation as an employer of choice in the transportation sector, going as far as earning national recognition as one of Newsweek’s Top 100 Most Loved Workplaces®.

Scott is also on the Board of Directors for the Youngstown-Warren Regional Chamber; a member of the Mahoning Valley Logistics Council; a member of the Young Presidents’ Organization; and a board member of the Chamber Foundation.

Scott and his wife, Erica, live in Canfield, OH, and have three children.
