Olympic Steel Expands Business with Aim

Olympic Steel, an Ohio-based steel distributor and longtime Aim customer, has expanded its partnership with Aim Integrated Logistics by adding dedicated fleet services in Bettendorf, Iowa, and Mt. Sterling, Kentucky.

"We're excited about the opportunity to expand our integrated partnership with two more Olympic locations," said Tom Reda, vice president of business development. “It allows Olympic Steel to focus on their core competency of processing steel and minimize the risk and exposure that comes with operating trucks.”

Olympic converted from a private fleet to a dedicated contract carrier solution at both locations. Five drivers and an account manager were added in Iowa, and two drivers were added in Kentucky.

"We were happy that all of the existing Olympic drivers accepted positions with Aim," said Tom. "We value their experience and wanted to make sure no employee was left behind."

The expanded partnership means Aim now has 30 employees at six Olympic locations. Aim also provides Olympic with dedicated fleet services in Georgia, Indiana, Ohio and Pennsylvania.
