PROMOTING WITHIN - CAREER ADVANCEMENT
Thanks to continued growth and success company-wide, Aim found itself needing to fill several new career opportunities. Finding the right people for the jobs turned out to be an easy process, thanks to a staff full of talented and hardworking associates.
“You hire someone because you expect them to meet your expectations – you promote them because you find they exceeded them,” said BRUCE BERGER, Vice President of Operations for Aim Integrated.
As a result of continued growth over the past few years, Aim Integrated Logistics was in need of adding a Billing and Payroll Supervisor to its staff.
KIM SLATER, who spent the last 13 years at Integrated as a billing clerk, stood out as the best candidate. She has been a key component of a strong and efficient billing and payroll department, and as a result has been promoted to fill this new position.
“Kim has been promoted because she puts a lot of effort in all she does, she is a great teacher and takes responsibility for everything that is trusted to her,” said Bruce. “Her interest in improving what she does and improving the department and company’s performance, along with her knowledge of the company’s systems, makes her extremely qualified for this new position.”
KEVIN CUMMINGS joined Elmhurst as the Service Manager back in September 2011. He was recently promoted to Regional Manager for the Elmhurst, Ill., and Hanover Park, Ill., facilities. DAVID TRAINOR was hired as the new Service Manager at Elmhurst.
“I have known Kevin for many years, and he is a proven Service Manager well deserving of his new role as a Region Maintenance Manager,” explained MARK ROACHE, Director of Facilities. “He has had past success with some of our competitors and now with Aim. Kevin is an experienced, knowledgeable, reliable asset to Aim, and I was excited to offer him this well-deserved promotion.”
BARB KOVACH has worked in Road Rescue since April 2010. She is part of the team you read about every year that is among the top NationaLease companies for reciprocal services. Barb serves our affiliates, as well as all our Aim employees on time-sensitive problems to get every truck back on the road safely.
“Barb’s skills and abilities made her the natural choice to assume the night shift supervisor role,” said ERIC LOWTHER, Manager.
MIKE WALL is our new Regional Business Development Manager for Colorado. With his bachelor’s degree in Journalism and master’s in Communications, he adds good marketing, sales and management skills to Aim’s presence out west.
