Aim Relay for Life Team Raises $3,600


Penny Pinkerton and Jamie Lockso, two members on the Aim NationaLease Relay for Life team, raised more than $3,600 during the event at Churchill Park in Liberty township Ohio.

Sharon Bullock, Team Captain (and successor to Pat Pompilli who still assists): “The Relay was a huge success. Thank you all for your continued support and thanks to all of the Aim team members. Wouldn’t it be great if this was the last Relay we ever had to have because a cure has been found? Maybe the money we raised this year will help that happen.”


Career Development Program Aims for
Employee Retention and Referral Program


Patty Durkin, Aim Vice President of Human Resources: “We have launched a new career development program that relies on establishing better connections with employees.”

New employees are sent an initial welcome letter with business cards so they can also refer their friends and family for employment and receive a $750 referral bonus.”

Debra Breen, Retention Specialist, makes direct contact with each new employee.

“I have always enjoyed working with people, and I enjoy the challenges and rewards of problem solving. So, the Retention position has been a great fit for both my interests and my experience. The position has evolved since I started and functionality has grown with new reports and communication ideas that make it possible to share the information coming in with the supervisors and executives that need it most.”

“The information is shared through reports, meetings, and a weekly synopsis that I send out, giving company executives the ability to examine and utilize employee feedback.”

Colorado Group Picks Bresina for Service Award


The Colorado Motor Carriers Association chose Terry Bresina for its Distinguished Service Award. The 2013 CMCA Safety Awards Banquet was a grand celebration of accomplishment and professionalism.

Terry Bresina: “I couldn’t believe I was picked for this award. There are many other people who I thought deserved it more than I do, but I guess they didn’t think so.”

“I just do what I do. I try to volunteer whenever I can. I don’t really see it as going above and beyond. I didn’t really expect anything out of it all. But I appreciate the award.”
